Where Learning Meets Joy

Our group training classes are built around trust, communication, and confidence — for both dogs and their humans. Led by trainer Sara, each class uses positive, science-based methods to help your dog develop real-world skills in a supportive, small-group environment.

Training isn’t just about teaching commands — it’s about deepening your bond. Every class includes guidance for handlers, structured learning time, and (of course) play.

In-person and/or Zoom Appointments

Basic: For puppies +12 weeks who are just beginning their training journey. NO prerequisites are required. This course includes instruction on teaching sit/no/ok, sit/stay, down, down/stay, come/sit & look at me. Each class begins with 15-minutes of playtime.

GROUP CLASSES

Basic/Intermediate: For dogs who have graduated who have a solid understanding of sit, no, ok, sit/stay, down, down/stay, come/sit & look at me. This course incorporates silent training and the use of hand signals; it will prove their sit and down stays using greater distances, longer durations, and harder distractions. We begin to work on heeling.

Intermediate: For dogs who have graduated from the basic/intermediate level & who have handlers who LOVE working with them. We will work on stringing cues together, interrupting cues with other cues, and perfect heeling. New cues include stand & stand/stay. The curriculum changes depending on individual goals.

NOTE TO HANDLERS: Group training classes create a safe environment in which YOU learn how to teach your dog. For best results, plan on carving out 5 - 10 minutes a day in between classes to practice you and your dog’s new skills. Multiple handlers may attend class but there can only be one handler working with each dog at a time. You can switch out as many times as you want. Please contact us if you have any questions about what level your dog should enroll in.
